Anita is an Emotional Wellbeing Practitioner for preteens / teens and a Personal Growth Coach for Mums. She is the founder of Teen Wellbeing and is dedicated to supporting young people and their families navigate life through the teenage years. Anita’s journey began 20 years ago in the field of education where she achieved significant success.
She was an Ofsted outstanding teacher and also coached newly qualified teachers for many years supporting them through the early years of the profession. Her last position was Head of PSHE (Personal, Social and Health Education) where she was able to explore ways to use powerful coaching concepts and techniques to help improve the emotional intelligence and overall wellbeing of her students.
She found that too often children felt isolated and alone in the problems they were facing. They battled with low self-esteem, anxiety, body image, academic pressure and much more. They were afraid nobody would understand their problems and were confused about how to handle their challenges. Ultimately this led to them becoming paralysed by stress and feeling overwhelmed.
